Happy New Year! I hope you have a wonderful year. It is exciting looking forward to the new year. I am busy working on orders and other creations for eBay. Finished up the little raspberry bear and working on a bunny. Can't wait to get busy on some more pups and a black bear as soon as my mohair arrives.

Scarecrow Jack
Another Monday. I just finished Scarecrow Jack and I am working on an elephant and giraffe for The Boston Road Collection. I will be starting on another order for a Boston Terrier as soon as my order of mohair arrives. Time is flying by and it will be Thanksgiving. The holidays are the best time of the year and very busy! Enjoy your Monday!

Good rainy Friday morning! The trees are beautiful and we know it won't be long before the snow will be drifting down so softly glistening off the sunlight and gathering on the leaves that have fallen. We have not had a frost yet and that is unusual. My grandfather would say we could not have Indian Summer until after the first big frost so I hope we have Indian Summer yet to look forward too. I have had a busy week as usual but not with my sewing machine. Today I will be attempting to finish up the bear I am making and working on a scarecrow too. Happy Friday!

It looks like fall in Ohio! The trees are starting to change colors already and it will be a beautiful sight when they have turned gold, red, orange and burgundy! I love this time of year! It is always a treat to take a drive to New Wilmington, Pennsylvania through Amish country in the fall. Every turn is a wonderful picture to behold. If you could just capture all the sights and sounds of your trip. The Amish are wonderful people. Their innocence is a treasure. If you drive into the back roads there are so many wonderful scenes. Wish I could stay there for days painting and appreciating the beauty. Back to reality of this busy world when you leave there. Fall is in the air and the crisp chill and smell of dried leaves fills us with contentment that summer has ended. Happy Fall!

Friday again. Where do the weeks go? It is looking and feeling like fall in Ohio already. Sad to see summer fly by. We are starting to gather things back into our barn for winter already. Seems I just put all those things out and planted endless flowers to get ready for summer. I have been busy taking my mom to doctor appointments and working on orders for three Boston Terriers this week. There is never enough time. Time to start on Christmas creations. Christmas is just around the corner. I love Christmas. It is a happy giving time. I am always so busy I rarely get to enjoy it like I would like to. I start decorating November 1, and that is not far away. Back to sewing my Boston's today! Happy Friday!

Friday
This month is flying by and here it is another Friday! Where does time go? I would rather be busy than bored! Last week we were visiting our son and his family. We had a great visit with them in South Carolina. They are so crazy busy and it is always a treat to be blessed to spend some time with them. Love them so much! My son is such a sweet man so caring and loving and his wife Andrea is the best wife and mother. I cherish the time I spend with them. Chase went to first grade Wednesday. Wow! Wasn't he just born yesterday? Seems that way. What a special little guy he is! He has that sweet little southern twang to his voice sometimes like his sweet mama. He calls me "Grand-Ma" and that tugs at my heart. Got to see him on the I Pad Wednesday night and he said he got the teacher he wanted and one of his friends from baseball is in his class. Good luck to Mr. Chase-man in first grade. Now it is back to sewing and creating for "Grand-Ma" too. Working on a Boston Terrier today and hope to have her finished. My inspiration is my grand pup Payton. He is Chase's dog and is 13 now. What an amazing dog! He can no longer see but still is in good condition. Sad to see him getting old. It happens to all of us so we better get busy and enjoy our life giving all the glory to God! Blessings he freely gives to us are amazing! Bear hugs Friday!

Miss Kitty Princess Queen
This is one of our stray cats. We call her Miss Kitty, Princess or Queen. She came here last winter out of the blue like she fell out of the sky. Someone must have dropped her off. So sad that people drop off animals. She is a very gentle cat most of the time. She does not like Bailey or the other stray cat Kitty Boy and thumps them on the head. She doesn't scratch just smacks them to let them know she is the Queen. Kitty Boy ducks and runs. Isn't she pretty?
Bailey
This is my precious little grandpuppy Bailey. He is the sweetest little guy. He lives with us and we treat him like he is the king of the house. He sure gives us more than we could ever give to him. He never leaves my side unless grandpa takes him for a walk. Love you Bailey Dean!
