July is around the corner!

Summer is flying by and it will soon be July 4th!  We have been so busy working, making and restoring furniture for the last 3 months.  Friday and Saturday was our Furniture Sale.  We had quite a large inventory and together with our great friends, Bill and Vickie and their wonderful handmade furniture, we had a great sale!  I will be posting some pictures of the furniture we have made and will continue to post pictures as we complete each piece.  I will also continue to make my mohair bears and animals but Fred and I love to spend time together in our work shop creating unique and one of a kind pieces.  Hope you like them!  Happy Forth Of July!!!!  Love you all!

June 24th and 25th furniture sale!!!

Seems every day we are given goes by faster and faster as we age.  Since Mr. P. retired almost a year ago every day is a blur!  I still get up at 5 am and try to make the most of each day!  We have been super busy getting ready for our furniture sale.  There will be a lot of other goodies at the sale too.  I think my new style bucket bench is my favorite as you can see the one in the picture waiting to be painted.  (Isn't Miss Kitty a cutie pie.  She always jumps in the pictures.)  I have been making bracelets, locker hooking mats,
bird houses, flower arrangements, a few prim dolls and crows, prim candle holders, prim wooden servers, shelves and so many more things I made in our wood shop.  Fred has been making prim industrial modern style end tables, coffee tables, breakfast table, hall tables and a lot of benches.  They are great!  I love the new style!  Never enough time in each day to create all the things I want to!  Some friends of ours will be joining us in the furniture sale as they make so many wonderful things too.  We will have refreshments and a prize drawing.  I am so excited! Every day is a brand new day that we can start new!  I love it!  I am starting to see my baby deer when their mothers are so kind to bring them close.  I feed the herd every day but until they are a couple weeks old they will hide them.  Last summer I had 4 or 5 at a time to baby sit.  They like to bring them and hide them by our fence.  That means I am stationed at the window watching so nothing scares them or bothers them.  I do love that job!  Such tiny little creatures.  There should be 4 sets of twins this time.  They are the most fun jumping and playing with each other.  When it rains the overflow at the lake is a great place for them to run through the water and kick their heels up.   The twins always have more fun than the single births.  Hope you are enjoying every day the Lord has blessed us with!  Love to you all!
